Are you a local Artist? Painter, photographer, charcoal, etc.

Our method for picking artist is pretty straight forward.

We typically have professional artist but that is not a hard requirement. I have the artist send sample pics of their work. If we think the samples are the quality we require and match the feel and vive we are trying to get in our coffeehouse. We then make sure the artist has at least 9 large pieces that are professionally mated and/or frames.

If all looks good, we then extend an invitation for the artist to display. This is a very subjective process so artist need to have a thick skin but never give up. We do not sell the art, but refer people directly to the artist. So the artist would need to handle credit cards, cash, etc. We do ask that if the artist sell anything, they donate 10% to our school we sponsor in Brazil. (honor system)
